Enclosed you will find information on our "NEW" VAP 1 2000 one (1) coat system for reduction of water vapor and alkalinity control. This material allows the flooring to be placed 12 hours after one easy application. The Koester VAP1 System is a combination of highly engineered resins to overcome water vapor and alkalinity related problems for slab on grade concrete surfaces. The koester systems were developed over eleven (11) years ago and based on independent German research.
Koester's VAP 1 2000 has been tested in the United States according to ASTM E96, wet method with outstanding published results of over 93% reduction in the levels of water vapor transmission. The VAP 1 systems have been independently tested to ASTM D 1308 to prove insensitivity to alkaline environments up to pH 14. In addition to the enclosed U.S. reports, German testing was conducted to DIN 52615 with similar results, confirming the performance of this unique system.
